Our Colours
A key to our long Club history, is that we're constantly reaching out to new and experienced players alike, to come and join us. If you are interested, get in touch here to make it happen.
Weekly Club Night
The weekly Club Night is the backbone of our playing season, and takes place every Monday evening from late February, through to the end of October.

Our courts are located at Kapiti College in Raumati. Play starts at 7.00pm, and generally finishes at 9.00pm.
​
Club organisers ensure that players get a mix of games , so they initially play with players of equal skills, but also get matched with more experienced players.

Club Competitions
During the playing season the Club organises a number of competitions, which all Full Members of the Club can participate in.
​
These include the Handicap Champs, where players of all skills play together (in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles matches), but with handicaps applied to make sure that everyone has a chance of winning.
​
The annual Club Championship is an event where all Club members are encouraged to participate. No handicaps are applied here, and competitive experience is gained by all participants .... plus a chance to gauge how your game is progressing.
Interclub & Rep Play
The more experienced players participate in Interclub and Representative events.
​
Interclub games are arranged between the three Kapiti-based Clubs - in a series of matches for 12-14 weeks in the middle of the season.
Representative Badminton is organised at a regional and country level - and the best players in the country play in a league of home and away matches (spread throughout the playing season).
​
A friendly Business House competition is also run by the Club towards the end of year - and all are welcome for this event, over a period of up to 7 weeks prior to Xmas.
